Meet the family

My husband and I are a military family, four years deep. We moved three times within our first year of marriage and the adventures have yet to cease. God continues to guide us and bless us every day.
No babies yet but we have two beautiful dogs that have been such a blessing in our lives. Our first, Kermit was adopted from the Humane Society in Colorado Springs. He is currently being loved on and spoiled by my wonderful mother-in law in AZ while we ride out our time over seas.
Kermit our Rough Collie
Our second dog, Lucky was adopted from a military family where we are currently stationed.
Lucky our Labrador Retriever...yes, he's holding a beer bottle. Long story.
A little something about our boys.
Kermit is one intelligent and mischievous dog!
He will learn a new trick in 30 minutes and get to that butter or steak on the counter in only three. He LOVES to talk to you in a girly howl/bark and can really make himself heard when he feels it's important! If you leave him for too long he may find something quite tasty like your shoes or even the TV remote. Yum!
He loves children and playing fetch(for hours and hours and hours...) and could outrun Isaac on a 10 miler with energy to spare. We also call him our anniversary baby because well, he was born the day we were married.

Lucky, oh Lucky. Don't let the name fool you, he's a lab with no tail. Just kidding! Luck has nothing to do with it. Really though, he doesn't have a tail but it's a traditional practice for domestic labs(not in Germany but other countries). This way their tales don't knock stuff over. Lucky just uses his face for that.
After adopting, we decided the name he came with just wasn't going to do so we worked on a new one. We tried so many names waiting for him to respond to one...just ONE. After days of ZERO success I finally used THE name I never really liked and when I spoke it, that silly silly name, his ears immediately perked and he jumped up ready for the next command.
He is wonderful with children and has taken much abuse from them only wanting to give them kisses as they try to rip out that whisker or ride him like a pony.
He is definitely a hunter as he brought me his first rabbit about two months ago. Dropped the poor thing right at my feet.
"Good Boy!" was the first thing that came to my mind, the second was population control.
He also loves it when you give him a job. I have officially trained him to bring me my shoes. That's about it for now, but the training continues.

A little more about the humans. I currently am working on becoming a student at University Maryland University College(UMUC) for my associates in Management Studies and am a contractor for Hallmark working about 10-15 hours a week stocking cards.

Isaac is working so hard every day moving forward with his career. He currently is a Lab technician but is working at getting into the nursing program at Grand Canyon University(GCU). I will be keeping you updated with that. He also is progressing in his running and will run his very first marathon in Dresden Germany this month!

Well now you have met the Brennan family. We are truly blessed everyday and God continues to guide us through life with His grace and Love.
